Design for Kids – made with care

The 12th kids' collection from FRANCK & FISCHER is on its way to the shops. During the last six years FRANCK & FISCHER has developed into a world wide supplier of designed baby products, presently with permanent distribution in 15 countries from Europe and Asia to USA. The unique design has its roots in the Scandinavian design tradition, this show in the colours, the simple animal figures, and the high functionality of the products. The design is of utmost importance to us, but of equal importance is the whole process from raw materials to production. 70% of our collection is made of certified organic cotton, dyed and printed with oekotex100 standard which is a guarantee for no chemicals. Our suppliers in Asia have been chosen after criteria's such as working conditions, waste water supply, ethical regulations for the production, and the general understanding of all of us having a responsibility for living up to good standard.

Autumn 2011 stardust collection includes a line of waxed easy-to-clean organic cotton bibs with hand printed animals and aprons with sleeves to the older child (2-5 years). New interior products are boxes for toys or nursing matters with all over star print.

Our crochet ladies in the north of China have also for this collection made great new items based on Annemarie's drawings: Rattles with owl faces, funny sensory rattles for pram or crib or activity centre. The older girls will love the cute purses with animal faces for hair deco, iPod, or money for ice cream. And off course all purses are made in organic yarn.

All new and existing products are shown on our website. We can supply with photos in high resolution- ready to use in articles about kids, toys, interior, ecology or ethical production.
